THE STORY
Completed in 1927. on lakeshore, it was built on the orders of Benito Mussolini and was designed by architect Giovanni Greppi. Its construction represented one of the first examples of rationalist architecture in Italy; it is named after rower and war hero Giuseppe Sinigaglia, a native of Como, who died in the First World War.
